A while ago, I was suffering a lot because of the many tasks on my shoulders as a wife and mother of two children and as a human being with my own needs, passions, and dreams. I did not find any time for myself and the strange thing is that I was planning for a third child. How is that, oh God, how could that be possible when I could hardly find time to grab a quick bite, often eaten hurriedly while standing? My lifestyle was far from healthy, and it became clear that I needed to take action. I had to reclaim control and find a solution to save myself and my family from this unsustainable cycle.
The first step I took was improving my diet. I shifted to grandma’s simple, wholesome foods that were rich in nutrients and high in protein with some modern additions, that provide me with energy while supporting my overall health and skin. I prioritized meals that were quick to prepare yet as healthy as possible. Fortunately, my husband was easygoing since his main concern was that the food tasted good, and he was already on board with the keto diet. The real challenge, however, was introducing this lifestyle to my children and teaching them to embrace these habits.

When Decor Blueprints Met Dinner Breakthroughs
You know, it’s kinda wild that I spend my weekdays designing spaces and tinkering with layouts as a decor engineer, and then come home to juggle dinner prep, homework chaos, and the occasional meltdown over missing socks.
Life isn’t always easy, but we shouldn’t make it harder or duller than it needs to be. We must find ways to enjoy it and simplify the journey. Between balancing architectural plans at work and whipping up something half edible in the kitchen, I try to keep things fun. I mean, if a recipe bombs, at least I’ve got a funny story and let’s just say there’ve been more than a few smoke alarm moments.
For my two kiddos, well, they’re the toughest critics I know. One minute, they’ll inhale a new pasta dish like it’s the best thing since pizza, and the next, they’re side-eyeing my kale salad like I’m trying to sneak something suspicious onto their plates. (Spoiler: I usually am, it’s called “vegetables.”) But what can you do? It’s all part of the adventure.

I never thought I’d end up so passionate about cooking.
