  • Total Time: 15–25M
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Low Fat

Description

Quick, crispy, and juicy chicken sausages made effortlessly in the air fryer—perfect for weeknight dinners, brunches, or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 to 16 ounces chicken sausage links (pre-cooked, raw, or frozen)
  • as needed oil spray (avocado or olive oil preferred)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Place sausage links in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not stack or overcrowd.
  3. Lightly spray sausages with oil to encourage browning and crisping.
  4. For pre-cooked sausage: air fry at 375°F for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. For raw sausage: air fry at 375°F for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check internal temperature for 165°F (74°C).
  6. For frozen sausage: air fry at 360°F (180°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Ensure internal temperature reaches 165°F (if raw).

Notes

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed for optimal crisping. Use a meat thermometer for raw sausage to ensure food safety. These sausages are great for grain bowls, pasta, breakfast dishes, or quick lunch wraps. Slice and refrigerate leftovers for easy meal prep all week.
