Description
These Cheeseburger Egg Rolls are everything you love about a classic cheeseburger—savory beef, gooey cheese, tangy pickles—all wrapped up in a crispy, golden egg roll shell. They’re perfect for parties, snacking, or those late-night cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
- ½ cup onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese (or a mix)
- ⅓ cup finely diced pickles
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp burger seasoning (or mix of paprika, garlic powder, pinch of sugar)
- Egg roll wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Optional Add-ins:
Turkey bacon bits
- Minced jalapeños
- Worcestershire sauce (just a few dashes)
Instructions
1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened. Drain excess fat.
2. Stir in pickles, seasoning, and optional Worcestershire sauce. Let the mixture cool slightly, then mix in shredded cheese.
3. Spoon filling onto each egg roll wrapper. Fold the sides, roll tightly, and seal the edge with beaten egg.
4. Heat oil to 350°F. Fry rolls for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Notes
- You can air-fry these at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
- They freeze well—just reheat in the oven for a crispy finish.
- Serve with burger sauce, ranch, or a mix of ketchup and mayo.
